A word about me...actually more than one :)
First of all, i want to say thank you for stopping by on my blog. It means a lot to me. Please, make yourself at home, you are very much welcomed!
Well i guess i have to tell you more about me (don't you worry i won't go back as far as birth time...).
I currently leave in brittany (france). But, i am planning to move to canada soon if everything works out the way i want ...
I may post a word or two about this specific topic someday.
But for now, back to business.
I am literally obsessed with organic food, natural skin and hair care and basically, everything about natural kinky hair.
I am myself 100% natural since 2009 when i did my first big chop. I did a second one in 2011. I think we can say that i did a 3rd one (considering the amout of hair i cut) due to breakage (bad routines, products and handling tecnics). I am in a place where i finally found the best routine and products for me (easy peasy and 100% organic). So i am finally starting to retain lenght.
Ultimate goal: fully dense waist lenght natural hair! Well that's a hell of a challenge, i know! I will get there...eventually!
I have several degrees from bachelor to master's (university and private business school) in languages and business management.
Through the years, i've worked in advertising for a french newspaper, in academic training, human ressources, and till late 2014 for a private tv channel.
My whole experience led me to a simple conclusion: I WANT TO BE MY OWN BOSS.
Working for someone definitely doesn't attract me anymore.
During this years as an employee, i felt confined, obstructed. I had to sell my most precious treasure: MY TIME ( sorry to disappoint you but it wasn't my body! family friendly blog here!).
Our time is one of the most precious thing we have. You can't get more. Once i'ts gone, it's for good. How precious can it be?
And most of all, i could'nt even set a price for MY own time. You talk about a bad deal?!
So 2 years ago, i started looking for a way to get out while being able to provide for my dependants (my bank, my internet and phone provider, the government through various taxes...).
Like you, i've got many of them to feed. And they are NOT particularly patient if you know what i mean.
That's when i heard of multi level marketing (MLM), basically word of mouth. I have already heard about it during my academic years.
So i started a business with one of those MLM company. And i failed big time! But i still had my paid job. Yep, the one i wanted to get out from :).
But this experience tought me several things i want to share with you:
So based on what i learned, i quit my first MLM company. I did get along with the leaders back then. But let's face it, they were all about taking care of their own backyard.
I get that.
I AM the one who decided to join. i should have known better.
Nobody made me do it.
So, i am the one to blame.
I failed. period!
But, i wasn't trying to leave a great white shark world's (paid workforce) for a bull shark one (MLM industry for what i have seen). A shark is a shark, right?
So in march 2015, i made another attempt with a cosmetics MLM business. With what i have learned so far in mind, i tried the products. Some was great, but some of them not so much, to say the least.
Plus, i was again disappointed by the so called leaders, the help they promise but never deliver, very expensives products, struggle to sponsor or even get customers. So i failed... AGAIN!
Once again, this so called leaders are the ones who make a living out of the business.
At this point, you may want to shout " Get over it and become a leader then!"
To what i'll say " I DON'T care about being a leader". Yeah, you read me!
What it means being a leader in the MLM industry simply doesn't attract me. I just want to make a living out of it. And if by doing so, i help a couple of persons, that's a huge reward in itself. But, they won't owe me anything. And i certainly don't want the star-fan relation i often see in this business.
I think i am now at a point where i finally know what i want and don't want.
Ironically, i do believe in the MLM system. It's a promising industry. You can tell by the growing number of companies offering compensation when you refer or recommand their products or services. In a world where we are all overwhelmed with various business offers, good old "word of mouth" can now works its magic!
I simply do not believe in the so called leaders and the way they want to play the game. 9 times out of 10, they are just speaking for themselves.
To be fair, maybe, i simply haven't met the good ones yet.
A this point, what i have seen of the MLM is a bad replica of the labour world.
A "boss" whose instructions you need to follow to the T. At the end, he is the one getting the big money. You don't.
Remenber the old say, medecine is not bad in itself, some physician on the other hand...
So, i do believe in the MLM industry. Then what?
My credo being: "You don't like your life? No problem! just get a new one!"
So i asked myself important questions. What do i really want? what i ABSOLUTELY don't want?
Here are the answers that led me to join my advertising pays:
- I don't want to be an employee anymore.
- I want to work online.
- I don't want a business with products handling. Services only.
- I want to TRULY be my own boss (not some "employee" of a leader:)).
- I don't want to need to sponsor in order to earn some good cash.
- I don't want a star-fan relation with leaders or potential team members.
- I want financial freedom.
- I want an affordable opportunity to start with.
- The company or the opportunity has to prove itself acceptable. Not the other way around.
- I want to see real money before i retire. (ok i am overreacting here. I am still in my "early" 30's so i am good).
- I want an easy peasy, lemon squeezy system anyone can work out.
So you may wonder, what's the point of this blog? In a nutshell, the main goal of this blog is to share my journey.
I am just beginning so, best time ever to start a journal.
And if along the way, some people want to join my advertising pays through me. I'll make sure to help them the best way i can. But remenber, it's your business. You decide what to do. And, you don't owe me anything. You don't even need to ask for my help if you feel you'll better off alone. I'll totally get it.
Shout out to my sponsor Hicham who introduced me to this opportunity.
He is right there when i need him but most of the time, he just let me do my own thing. I am kind of a "find it and do it yourself" type of person so...
My 30 days free trial is over since late june, and i am deeply satisfied!
So, off i go to the next step...

So i started a business with one of those MLM company. And i failed big time! But i still had my paid job. Yep, the one i wanted to get out from :).
But this experience tought me several things i want to share with you:
- Never ever start a business if you don't have even the slightest interest for the products or services they provide. As your job will be to recommend them, i suggest you check that first. Usually, you don't recommend a movie you didn't like or even see right? Same goes here.
- Don't underestimate the amount of time it will take for you to make a living out of it. It takes time! months, usually years! Forget about the getting rich overnight speech! It's a lie straight from the pit of hell!
- Take your time before making a decision to join. All you have to define right away is your ultimate goal. That is the most important. You don't need to rush on how you're going to get there aka the mlm business or company.
- YOU NEED a wide contacts' network. If that's not case, let's be realistic. It's going to be very hard not to say impossible to get success in most MLM opportunities, as they based their compensation plan on referrals. And i don't care if BOB THE LEADER told you otherwise! It's another BIG LIE! You will find out soon enough, when they'll ask you to write down you personal contact list (family, friends, collegues...)
- But with time, skills, training, you can still get success. But you need time AND money to do so.
- Show great mental toughness! You are going to need it. So if you are depressed... LET IT GO! SERIOUSLY!
So based on what i learned, i quit my first MLM company. I did get along with the leaders back then. But let's face it, they were all about taking care of their own backyard.
